BrooklynParrots.com is a site launched in 2005. Here you’ll find information — in the form of photos I’ve taken and my own local observations — concerning the wild Quaker Parrots (AKA Monk Parakeets) of Brooklyn. Also provided are occasional reports from the field, links to Quaker parrot-relevant stories on the web, frequently asked questions about the birds, and notices about the┬áperiodic “wild parrot safaris” offered to the general public.

If you’re curious about who exactly is behind this site, my name is Steve Baldwin. While I spend as much time as I can “hunting” the parrots (with a camera, not a firearm), I work full time at marketing agency Didit, whose services you can peruse at Didit.com.
